In keeping with our Horticultural roots, we like to manufacture planters and bird boxes to sell in our onsite shop as well as support all the Woodworking needs across the site.

For those without experience we start with basic tool handling and work from pre cut templates. Progression to cutting your own materials follows, as does improving your assembly skills.

The finish is all important so learning how to prepare the item not only to last, by sanding and varnishing, but also to be attractive for sale completes the process.

We also always have a larger, longer term project on the go like this Shepherds Hut which is destined to be a mobile classroom.
