Site Maintenance
Our 8 acre site is entirely maintained by our staff and attendees. This maintenance includes mowing and strimming, painting and general repairs.
Learn how to use machinery independently in a safe and effective way. Become a team player and enhance your social skills whilst taking part in the many meaningful work related activities.
Contribute to our grounds maintenance by learning to mow and strim. Drive our Tractors and Mules to carry out landscaping jobs. Build, paint and maintain our sheds and storage areas. Progress to become part of our work party maintaining off site grass areas.
We don’t just provide the maintenance of our own Dawlish Gardens Trust site.
This is where we turn theory into practice. Growing autonomy sees our team also engaging with the community.
Rather than the maintenance of our own site we are out in the public eye with our contract to maintain churchyards in Starcross, Ashcombe and Kenn alongside public spaces in Dawlish and the local area. Flying the flag for Dawlish Gardens Trust.
Help us take care of our local community, by maintaining cemeteries, hotel grounds and country parks.
Our crews visit the site, assess the work that is required, then arrive on site with a team, machinery, and flasks of tea. Training and safety equipment is provided, all you need to bring is hard work and lunch!
